Liam Quirk — Death Must Be Your Daily Medicine
Death, and the study of death, must be your daily medicine
if you are not able to turn back from your inquiry into NonDual Reality.
And I am not talking about contemplating your own death,
for that is too complicated and tricky.
There are plenty of other kinds of death to go around
before you attempt to be at one with your own death.
We should walk before we try to run a steeplechase.
In this case, the backdoor approach is best.
Why is this so?
Why must death be the topic of study?
Because NonDual requires it.
To be in your life
and simultaneously not be attached to your life
is where NonDual Reality resides.
Being in your life is already a challenge,
but it is an even greater challenge
to not be attached to your life,
to experience that nothing is really about you
in the way that you believe you are.
That is the holy grail of NonDual.
